Lougborough 5 |
On the last game of the year the under 9s wanted to maintain there unbeaten record. Loughborough looked well organised with a large squad.
The game started and after 10 minutes of all out battle the score was all level . Burton had attacked numerous times but with no score then came the shock and Loughborough opened the scoring. Once again Josh Timms with electric pace levelled the score. The whole team was working hard with Ben Ward always in the Middle of the action.
With the score level the second half saw the return of Louis Sanders and immediately made an impact with his direct running which was too strong for Loughborough. And finally James Taylor scored to make the score 15 - 5. So the unbeaten record stands.
Loughborough and Burton then played a second game with some new players showing great skill and strength Eric Gilliver scored excellent try's. This just shows how the team goes from strength to strength

The Staffordshire Festival proved to be a major blow for the Team having first won against Tamworth With two Elliott Minns Try's.
