Burton U13’s travelled to locals rivals Lichfield and were under early pressure as the ball flowed along the hosts back line. Lichfield secured more possession during the opening stages to score first.

The Crofter’s rallied to show more determination at the rucks and skill in the line out and scrum. Reward for the improved performance came when winger Callum Palmer forced his way over the line with help from Robbie Cresswell Howe to level the scores.
