Burton U13’s started the season at Melbourne and were dominant in the first half.

Good rucking by the pack produced sustained pressure and Robbie Cresswell Howe crossed for the only score before the interval. Melbourne raised their game after the break to score 26 unanswered points as the Crofters faded.
