Todays 32:0 victory over Market Bosworth was our 19th win of the season. Market Bosworth are a strong Leicestershire club and although we beat them last season they have , over the years , always tested us and todays win was a good result. There will always be areas we can pick up on and if we are looking to maintain our position in the County ranking we need to continue pushing ourselves , even with the well earned Summer break just around the corner.
Our last full training session of the season will take place this Thursday 7 - 8pm at Shobnall
Next Sunday we are away at Wolverhampton meeting in the changing room at 10am. There is no training on Thursday 13th April . This is the day before Good Friday. The following Thursday ( April 20th ) we are having training just for the tour squad.
On Friday April 28th we are holding our the Under 14's awards night at the club. Most of you will know the format. Dress code is shirt and Club tie and school trousers for the players. We start at 7.30pm prompt. We will be asking for an £8.00 contribution from each player for the night and would ask that each family provide some food. I will send out a list of what I would like evryone to bring once I know howm many we are catering for. Everyone is welcome, Brothers, Sisters , Grandparents etc etc. It's been an incredible season and we have a lot of individual success and achievement thoughout the squad to acknowledge. I would be grateful if you could confirm that you are coming and let me know how many adults and children are in your party .
Nominations for players player of the season are coming in as are those for spectators player of the season and players choice for their captain next season. Please keep them coming. The more nominations we have , the better.
