On Sunday Burton hosted two games the first against Willenhall. Burton competed well in the first half against a large opposition pack. This Burton side improved there defence from previous games with Adam and Michael Cooke doing well at half time the score was 0-5 to the visitors.
In the second half Burton started well. Danny Stringer broke away to feed James Walker the ball and showed determination to score ,this was converted by Ashley Allum.
With 12 minutes to go Burton conceded three break away tries but this did not detract from the efforts of this developing Burton side.Tom Langley had an impressive return playing in a Burton shirt.
Burton 15 Stoke 15
The second game saw Burton play Stoke under 14s.Burton dominated up front against a well drilled Stoke side with Nick Cuffey playing well in the second row.
Burton started well and by half time were leading 10-5 from two tries by Josh Wilson.
Burton's constant pressure saw Chris Sammons charge down a Stoke clearance and then score. Burton's centre partnership Ross Burrows and Will Turner worked well breaking through the Stoke defence on numerous occasions.
In the closing moments Burton's attack was turned over and Stoke cleared and scored.
