Willenhall 0 Burton 5 on   Oct 14th 2007

On Sunday Burton under 14's played their second Staffs county league fixture of the season. The game proved to be as close an encounter as the first. Willenhall have assembled a large and talented team and started the match very strongly . The Burton players took a while to get going but eventually started to pressurise the Willenhall line. But , despite lots of possession Burton could not turn this into points. Burton did create some attacking runs but the final pass let them down and so at half time this tense game remained 0-0 .

In the second half Burton played up hill and had most of the possesion , but again Willenhall defended valiantly .Indeed despite the possesion Willenhall threatened to score a breakaway try. Chris Sammons put in one try saving tackle from one of these breaks. When it looked as though the game was going to end as a stalemate , it was Henry Whitfield who finally found a gap in the Willenhall line.
