Systons only attack on Burton's try line saw their big forward crash over to score and win the game.
Loughborough 5 Burton 0
In a very even match Burton were unlucky to lose the game by a last minute try from Loughborough. The forwards Will Roe, Joe Thompson, Ben Tomlinson and Alex Walker all played well giving 100% in the rucks, mauls, scrums and loose play. Joe Thompson had some great bursting runs coming close to scoring several times. Oscar Phillips at scrum half provided a great link between forwards and backs and even had several runs of his own. Fly Half Charlie Wootten was good in attack and put in several big tackles to keep Loughborough out and centres Scott Hickinbotham and Samuel Bridgen were strong in the tackle. Winger Aiden Hopkinson tackled well whilst other Winger Liam Gray caught a great long pass from Full back Dean Ainger, Liam ran 20 yards before being tackled 3 yards short of the try line.
