A great game to watch, with plenty of good marking and tagging, from both sides, and some great passing to finish off the tries. As the score line suggests, the teams where equally matched in both enthusiasm and performance.

Two tries each for Ethan Lowing and Jacob Ruprecht, with some great support and drive from Aaron Pooni.

Ashby were better organised in this game, with a couple of their key players scoring the tries. The score line would have been alot closer, if it wasn’t for two tries dissallowed, due to simple mistakes from Burton.

Two tries for Zak Taylor-Smith, and one each for Elvis Drinkwater and Joseph Ensor, being led well by the captain Lucy Stringer.

Game 3 Burton 35   Ashby 25

Although both teams were getting tired, the Burton team shouted with confidence, and made the best performance of the day, with solid defending, and some outstanding attacking, demonstrating good passing, support and finish.

Two tries each for Ethan Lowing and Joseph Ensor, and one each for Jacob Ruprecht, Elvis Drinkwater and Matthew Baker.

Players of the week were Aaron Pooni and Lucy Stringer.
