Under 7's v Lichfield on 21st Octoberber 2007

Burton and Lichfield played 3 games each with Burton drawing 2 games and losing one. 

Game 1. Burton 15 Lichfield 15

The first game was a bit scrappy with Burton feeling their way against a determined Lichfield side.  Elvis Drinkwater opened up the scoring for the Burton lads, with Joseph Turner and Ben Gilleland confidently scoring one each taking the score to a draw.

Game 2. Burton 20 Lichfield 25

Lichfield won the 2nd game 25 - 20. Jacob Ruprecht and Zak Taylor-Smith determinedly scoring for Burton, with Burton also showing excellent flashes of brilliance in defence.

Game 3. Burton 10 Lichfield 10

Burton started strongly in the 3rd game with Ben Gilleland scoring 2 in quick succession.  Zak Taylor-Smith showed a determined effort in defence and this helped to give Burton a well earned draw.

 The youngsters are showing a great deal of enthusiasm for their now regular meetings against other sides in the Midlands.  They are beginning to gel as a team as their experience grows.
