Under 7's v Walsall on 2nd March 2008

Burton 15 – Walsall 10

Walsall were first to score with some good straight running. This seemed to awaken the Burton defence making it very difficult for Walsall the remainder of the day. Charles Kingston was first to score for Burton with Ben Gilleland taking credit for the second (showing that he had not lost any of his finishing skills after a 2 week break in the sun). Jacob Ruprecht scored Burtons final try following a great jinking run.

Burton 30 – Walsall 10

The second game saw  more impressive tagging from the whole team notably by Matthew Suddaby and Oliver Branson on his debut. This forced Walsall to make numerous mistakes for Burton to capitalise on enabling Elvis Drinkwater to score once, Joe Ensor twice and Matthew Baker a hat trick.
