Market Bosworth 35 Burton 20 on   Nov 4th 2007

Burton started well, against a bigger Bosworth side, with some good passing and support play which allowed M Shenton to score the 1st try, this was immediately followed by a try from M Pride, which saw him show an amazing change of direction to wrong foot the Bosworth defence. Bosworth's attack then came to life and, after some hard defensive work, started to control the game.

Two tries levelled the match, only for M Pride to go on one of his elusive runs to score. A try either side of 1/2 time saw Bosworth take the lead, Only for M Pride to latch onto the end of a good team to score a well deserved hat-trick. However the larger, more physical attacks of Bosworth saw them score 3 late tries to steal the victory in an evenly fought match.

Market Bosworth 20 Burton 35

C Hutchison, in only his third match, led the way in defence with his determined running and never give up attitude. This seemed to lift the Crofters in defence, forcing plenty of turn overs. Burtons attack also stepped up a gear and they showed what they can do with the ball. Good running and support play saw Burton dominate, With T Smith popping up all over the place, he scored burtons first and second tries. For all his hard work in defence, and good support play, C Hutchison got a try. Two tries from Bosworth saw them come back into the match, only for more good attacking work allowing M Pride to go over the try line, followed quickly by N Collette. Another two tries saw Bosworth get close again, only for Burtons defence to tighten up and give the hosts no where to go. Burton managed to close the game with further tries for T Smith and N Collet

Market Bosworth 25 Burton 20 

Bosworths attack seemed to grow in strength in the third match, however, Burtons defence stood firm. M Pride scored 1st, after some good running saw him yet again confuse the defence. Relentless attacking finally paid off for Bosworth, with a try of there own. M Shenton than ran a try in to give Burton the lead. Bosworth snatched the lead though with a quick double. M Pride pulled 1 back for Burton and then the returning Z Fellows levelled the match. Bosworths attack then became aggressive, and they scored 2 tries.
